Topic: Could use some help on Lake Eufaula, OK

Well you know what they say about the best laid plans! We are having the TBF Central Divisional tournament at Lake Eufaula June 18-20 and Im lost. Since I have never been on the lake I meant to get down to the lake to practice several times but work and family stuff has been crazy and now the time is almost gone. From what Ive read the patterns should be offshore ledges and a shallow flippin bite. I dont have the time or connections to find those key offshore spots and when I studied the maps I saw a lot of docks! I live on a private lake and feel comfortable flippin docks so that is the strategy. My problem is I havent got a clue on what area to start and what colors of jigs/plastics? We have 3 official practice days but I dont want to waste them with the wrong color. I hate to ask for help but for those of you not familiar with the TBF Divisional format, I am really only fishing against the other 11 guys in the Missouri division (so all you Oklahoma guys should feel free to help!). Also, Im the only BCB guy on the team. The team is loaded so I am really fishing for fun and to bring a few fish across the stage. Any help would be appreciated and if you ever need help on the MO lakes Id be glad to share.Thanks,

I dont know how much I can help but willing to give some ideas if needed. Ive fished the TBF a few years back and had one on Eufaula. Our you going out of number 9 south or Nickels Point?. For a large lake..Eufaula usually fishes very small..If Eufaula cove is not off limits..fish it hard. Hit the Hwy 69 rip rap. Sounds generic, but sometimes it is loaded..Send me a PM..Last edited by VonH on June 9th, 2014, 3:44 am, edited 2 times in total.
