I have a 2000 Sabre with a newer Motor Guide 24 volt hand controlled troling motor. The boat is rigged now with 4 wires coming from the beatteries, 2 positive, 2 negatives up to the plug on the bow. My question is can I change that to where I do the jumper at the batteries and utilize one of the grounds and one of the postives going to the front plug? Is the wiring installed in that boat att he factory thick enough gauge? The reason I ask is Im more famililiar with that set up and Im not sure the previous owner has the plug on the trolling motor wired correctly. I think Im only getting 12 volts to the trolling motor. Thanks, KP
