Best Hot Foot

Im about to have a Hot Foot installed on my Néw 93 Pantera 2 (new to me), and was wondering if you guys could lead me in the right direction. Ive noticed that theres a Standard hotfoot (like I have in my old boat, 93 Pantera 2 also), and Ive also seen a Pro Top load Hot Foot that cost a few bucks more. Which is the better one for my boat? Also, do I need the adjustable plate, and does it have any other benefits other than adjustability in leg extension? My old boat just has a standard Hot foot, and works fine, but thought Id ask before I rigged the new one up?

Ive been thinking about adding one to my Margay, but if I do Im looking at the land and sea (is I think what its called) it gives you the hot foot and the hand throttle.

We dont have a hot foot preference, though suggest a slider plate for more mounting base, adjustment and a better anchor.

Im definitely putting the slider in, but now they have one thats called a “Pro Hot Foot” that the cable feeds down from the top rather than having to route it across the floor. I was wondering if anybody was using this kind, rather than the old stand-by Hot Foot?

Get the Top Load Pro Style, thats what Allison and Others are NOW using, couple dollars more but cleaner look

I have been using the top loader for years and love it, I leave the old throttle cable hooked to the hand throttle and have it routed in the battery compartment so that if I decide to go back to a hand throttle it is just a matter of changing the cables at the motor, and I have done this switch a few times in the past when I knew the runs would be real long.

After spending all evening yesterday I cant find where they even make the land n sea hot foot anymore, I cant find where any dual action hot foot is made
