Anyone know of a good guide in Little Rock. Ive got a friend going there sometime around the 4th of July wanting a fishing trip. Thanks Scott

This outta get interesting… Hey Scott if youre talking about a real “guide” there are none on the Arkansas River in LR. Because of Coast Guard regulations you have to have a USCG captains license to be one. If youre talking just hitting up a member of the family to take someone for no particular reason thats another story- July 4th will be still and ugly. I hereby volunteer Doug Swann. WardC.O.D. Ward, I was looking for a real guide, didnt know about the captain deal on the river. Is there a lake nearby they can get a guide at?

Doug Garrett used to guide and maybe still does Im not sure…he fished Bassmaster for years. There are guides for the Hot Springs lakes, about an hour from Little Rock. Dont know about Greers Ferry Lake guides, still about an hour out of Little Rock. I would call halls guide service for ouachita and ask to fish with david cochran. yes thats georges son. I have fished with david. he is a superb guide and fisherman. Id get him to take you to ouachita for black bass. he typically striper guides but will take customers for black bass as well.C.O.D. Jr. III

Ayone have know of a crappie guide on Hamilton, I have a customer wanting a crappie trip and I dont have a clue…
