Yes, the newer engines with the update graphics have silver painted cases like the original 250 Pro XB EFI model. That engine was a monster and ate like one, the silver cases identified the TorqueMaster cases back then. BCB uses only TorqueMaster Cases on 225 and 250 Pro XS engine, which cost about $300 to $400 more at retail. Some boat brands do not use the TorqueMaster cases as the boats really gain little with the better and heavier case. The require the metal solid hub that exhaust gasses (EGT) will not melt and is positive drive and the larger propeller shaft. You also gain the Cambered Skeg for improved handling (curved tab too) on the TorqueMaster case. BCB requested they continue and return to offering the TorqueMaster cases when in early 2010 product year (no model years on engines) they removed the TorqueMaster availability on engines. We lost some nice handling and performance in those early 2010 engines.
