Guys, I just spent 3 days in Pigeon Forge Tn. With wife and took in a truck show. While I was there, I couldnt help checking out the local lake and boat landing. Reason being is: family is gonna be up there a week, the third week of July and I was just curious what lakes were nearby that might give me reason to pull the Cat with us on vacation, to maybe get in some fishing. Talked with some locals and they said the lake was awesome for largemouth, but end of July might be tough. The landing was on the dam and even had a nice campground at the landing (which has got me thinking of future weekend trips) if the fishing is as good as they say. Has anybody fished this lake, and is it worth pulling the boat that far the week of July 21-?
