Just wondering what the fastest stock Cat out there is ! Whats the 300s run on a new Cougar or Puma , and was some of the older mdl Cats hulls faster than the new Cats hulls ? The fastest cat Ive saw in person was a 09 puma with a 250 HO , it ran 83 mph !!!!!!!! Not trying to start a war here I was just wondering how the 300s run on the 20 footers !!!!!!!!!!

Dont know but I bet when they put a 300 on the new Eyra the question will be moot.

The Cougar Advantage Elite is probably the faster now, and the Cougar FTD is a close second.

Fastest Cat Ive had was an 05 Puma w/ Mercury 250 XS that did 83.4 a few times and generally ran 82.5!

Goodness, I cant imagine going that fast on the water. Yikes. I think in a couple of weeks you can officially add the Erya with a 300XS to the list as well. I cant wait to read those numbers.What did Ivan do with Yamahas 4 stroke SHO? I know it was over 80 on the GPS.

I have the fastest 225 Opti (non XS) Cougar FTD in the land. Got lucky with this motor for sure.
