Coming down to Mountain Home…

Ill be headed down to Mountain Home this weekend to pick up the new Eyra. My buddy and I will be around a day early since the boat is set to be completed on Tuesday and was wondering if there is anyone in the area who is headed out fishing and looking for BBT to tag along since the motor is getting rigged back in Canada.I figure since our water is frozen pretty solid still and the temps are in the 70s and 80s down there we might get a shot at some green critters. If no one is around does anyone know of any areas close to BassCat that we can fish? After a winter of sub zero temps we are both anxious to even look at open water…Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciatedJP

It would be an awesome way to spend Monday… no doubt! Any suggestions on what to bring? I have rods and will travel…lol

man… if i didnt have full days monday and tuesday i would love to take ya out. Water is warmin up here, mid 50s to 60 on bull and norfork probably be gettin even warmer after this weekend. Gonna get after em on norfork tommorrow afternoon after my son gets done with ball practice. Surely somebody around will be free to take you out.

JP,Looking forward to seeing what that new Eyra looks like. I thought your previous Puma looked great also. Also interested on how you think the ride in rough water compares to the Puma. Im getting a 2011 Couger soon(NOT soon enough) but sure like the looks and the layout of the new Eyra!!!!!! Also wonder if it has a tendency to chine walk more easily than your Puma, if I remember right you said your Puma rarely walked much. Will the Eyra get an SHO or Merc???Need pictures soon, I need something to drool over till I get my Couger?!?!?!Bill Mac

Fish Doc, pics should be up tomorrow night as well as a video if the drive doesnt do me in completely. The Erya will be getting a SHO so I will post things when I get it done and on the water.

You lucky dog. Your getting your Eyra before me. I guess Ill have to settle for being the second Eyra in Canada. Congrats, hope youll post some pics or a YouTube video. Last years tour of your Puma was awesome. Drive safe, whats it about a 24 hr drive?
