I am hoping BCB can help me and their parts department figure out which switch I need for a seat compartment interior light. This is on a 2013 Eyra. I ordered what the parts guy and I thought was the correct switch but it did not work. The switch we ordered was the bow mounted trim (up and down) switch. After the fact, it makes sense that those wouldnt work. Those are the only switches we saw on-line that would possibly work.Thanks in advance.RobertBassCatSC

Give Parts a buzz and just have them write up a warranty on the lid switch. The guys in the shop can handle it from there and check your boot as if that is torn you would need a new silicone hat.

Have 2012 Eyra. Ordered a couple replacement boots for my light switches couple weeks ago from BCB for seat compartments. When I screwed the new boot down all the way it turned the compartment light off. When I took the boot off, the light came on?? Put a drop of loctite on boot threads and screwed it half way down. Seems to work just fine. Original boots were screwed all the way down so I think maybe new boots arent as tall/deep as original boots??

There are two boots, one for boxes and one for trim switches. The durometer on the caps is different and the soft one you need is very expensive.

If I saved a buck with a drop of loctite, Im happy. Seems to work OK. Bought extra so will keep eye on it. Thanks

Just spoke to Billy in parts and he fixed me up. Service after the sale (with a good attitude!) is another reason I have been in BassCats since 1999! Thanks BCB!
