The boat show season has approached and is nearly on us now as we close 2009, into 2010. We start in Houston soon, and Belton Texas soon after. That weekend of January 14th – 17th is also opening for Timmonium, Maryland. Then we have Sherms Open House, Greenes Open House, Kentucky, Little Rock, Nashville, Hunstville, Monroe, LA, Birmingham, AL and more to do. From January 8th on we will be booking it cross country somewhere. The BassMasters Classic is also upcoming this February in Birmingham. We will be there with a booth in the rear area of the lower hall displaying three boats. There we hope to show a Jaguar, Sabre Vision Day Tripper and another undecided model which will probably be a Puma FTD. Though we are still open on that now. The BassMasters Classic is going to be unique for us as we will have up to nine (9) anglers in the Classic this season. With any luck a few of those will make those final cuts for the last day. Wouldnt it be grand if they all did! Presently representing Bass Cat in the 2010 Classic are: Terry ButcherMike IaconelliKota KiriyamaBilly McCaghrenJames NiggemeyerKevin Short Mark TuckerDarrell West Inventory is very limited now as we enter 2010. The dealers are running short on stocking inventory and we have not pressured them for boat production. Sure we would like to have more boats out, though we know times are difficult and the spring season will bring some direction. We hope to see many of you there and we look forward to a great 2010 New Year! BCBLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on January 26th, 2010, 9:04 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Ive ran into Ike twice in the last month on Lay. Hes putting his time in. Ill have to say Russ is going to be solid in Feb. at Lay. Fished against him for years in local events before he turned pro and February was his month for spots. Hed bust 20 #s on a regular basis. Id be shocked if he didnt do the same in the classic. Maybe itll be a Cat day anyway… Doug
BCB do you know boats will be on display at the Timmonium, Md. show? Was thinking of maybe heading down since the local boat show is all saltwater.
Look forward to meeting the BassCat folks at the Classic and hopefully the Birmingham boat show. Cant wait to see the Jaguar in person. Flyswatter
The Houston boat show has been a tradition for me and my two sons for the last 7 or 8 years. We look forward to seeing yall there.
The Jaguar will probably be on display at the Classic, though not the Birmingham boat show. The Timmonium show should have a pretty good line up and a Jaguar in that group also. BCB
What are the dates on that?
We are hosting our Open House on Saturday, February 6 from 9 – 2. We will have many vendors at the dealership along with some Bass Cat pros – Marty Stone, John Crews, and maybe Britt Myers. Ill post a more detailed explanation of our Open House soon. Hope you can make it as well as anyone else on this board that would like to come. Good luck to all the BCB pros in the Classic. I havent scheduled off for the event yet, but am trying to make it. Good bunch of fishermen and all of them capable of winning. Terry Butcher – 1st Classic, should be strong and focused. Mike Iaconelli -Always a threat when not distracted. Kota Kiriyama – Good guy who is one break away from having runaway season. Russ Lane – Homeboy needs to show his best spotted bass ways ! His to lose ? Billy McCaghren – Double dangerous,,,, Good and hungry ! James Niggemeyer – Sleeper no more, may surprise. Plus, Strike King pros have won ALOT this year ! Kevin Short – Coming off good year, and still dangerous in Pink ! Mark Tucker – Glad to be there, may be time to get his “mojo” back. Good guy. Darrell West – Most dangerous of all the Arkansas boys. NOTHING to lose ! Good guy and fisherman. Proved that at Dardanelle ! Goood luck guys ! D.
Can you tell me when the Nashville show is and will it be in the Convention Center?
