Well you guys convinced me NOT to drill holes to install a cargo net in the rear compartment behind the drivers seat. Its a 2012 Cougar FTD. Im now on a quest to find a suitable storage bin or caring caddy to put my spray bottles in. Someone had suggested a company called Sterlite and they have several options. Problem is I dont know the opening size and depth of this box and my boat is out at my lake trailer so I cannot measure this compartment. Can one of the good folks on the BassCat forum measure the compartment on their boat and post it here? I want to try and pick something up this week as Ill be going out the my trailer and boat this coming weekend and would like to have the storage bid/carrying caddy purchased before I go out there. Thanks!
If you are or know a craft beer drinker, the wooded boxes the 22 oz bottle can be carried in would be good for holding cleaning agent bottles etc. upright in the compartment. This ones a little on the fancy side and expensive. Though I like the handy bottle opener mounted on the side……… But Ive seen them in brewery shops or beer making supply stores for $10 that are just plain wood and around here they usually hold just 4 22oz bottles.https://www.etsy.com/listing/241694593/ … ref=market
Im might try one of the followingThe 1st would require short screws or possibly industrial grade velcro. Try searching on cleaning totes or spray bottle holders.https://www.etundra.com/janitorial-supp … aQodlYoGAAhttp://www.webstaurantstore.com/rubberm … aQodLjUONwLast edited by Chicagobass on January 27th, 2016, 12:15 am, edited 2 times in total.
Thanks guys! I found this ice bucket tray at Target for $3.99. I think it will work! I think Ill still secure it with a few short screws.Last edited by Jeff W from TX on January 27th, 2016, 12:37 pm, edited 1 time in total.
You could always fasten a little small bungee to the inside of the bucket to to secure the bottles upright2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
I could do that. But I also put some rags for the boat and a micro towel for the sonars in the compartment. Ill see how it works putting some of those in the bin to secure the bottles. If that does not work, Ill go the bungee cord route. Thanks everyone for the advice.
Too funny schodackbassman! I leave the other rear compartment open/empty for my partners stuff. So there is an entirely empty compartment on my boat if Im fishing alone.
