I think this topic has been discussed before but I can not remember. Senior problem. I have a Sabre FTD DC with a Merc. 175 Pro SX Fury 24p., Minn Kota 80# Fortex. NO THE BOAT IS NOT FOR SALE. PROBLEM – The boat leans to the left when I take off. I have mover all the weight that I can think of to the right side. Motor is flush with setback. This lean is very annoying. The only way I can correct this problem is to trim up as I take off. Do you have any solution to my problem. Sure would like to take off flat with out having to trim up on take off. Thank, John

It doesnt do it when its on the pad, right?

Its normal. My 92 Sabre did it and my 04 Cougar does it. Its prop torque and once youre on plane and trim up some, it straightens up.viewtopic.php?f=63&t=37273&p=255632&hil … ue#p255632

No, just when you power up. No, It does not do it on plane. If it is prop torque that is good to know. That way I can explain what is going on as my partner is looking down at the water go by when we leave the dock. Give him something to look at besides the wave board girls. Thanks, John

I had a 09 Sabre FTD with a 175 ProXS, It would lean left some and sometimes it would lean right. But it always got straight within a few seconds as it broke over on plane. It is all prop torque I think.

I asked the same question about 5 weeks ago. Here is BCBs response01 Oct 2017 12:34 #3 It is Offsetting propeller oscillation. It requires you to trim to get things leveled on the hull pressures. To make a Bass Cat run dry, ride like it does and perform in both rough water as well as on top end, these aspects have to be built in.

My 07 Sabre FTD leans slightly left when I take off. I did move the TM batteries to the port side and the start battery to the starboard side after I bought the boat. Since I fish solo a lot it helps even out weight distribution when I’m on pad somewhat. Like other said, it likely just prop torque. Just turn right a bit as you come up on the pad and it should level off. That’s all I do.
