Hey guys…put the new 25p Fury on my P3 and it ran good, but maybe really not better than my 25p trophy. Final verdict will have to wait until I can run by myself with light load to really see what I can get. But, heres the kicker…according to what my prop repair shop guy says is that Mercury no longer actually manufacturers that prop, instead they have contracted it out. And he thinks an OEM one runs noticably better than the “newer” one. He says he call tell the difference by the angle of the cupped portion of the blade. Luckily, he says I got an OEM one. What say, any truth to this story?

Nope, Mercury has one of the most advanced propeller production shops there is. We linked to a video once, lets see if we can find it. So BassCat to be clear. Mercury is not outsourcing Fury Props? Hopefully, thats a yes and they are manufacturing their own props.

I have ran a 24 and 25 fury on my P4, so far the 25 trophy has been the best for top speed for it. The 24 fury does have better hole shot and mid range.
