Well the long wait begins! Finalized my order on a 2018 Lynx on Saturday. In the end, I decided on the 250 SHO. Most everything else is the standard setup.Lowerance HDS 9 Carbon on the bow with the Balzout mount.Lowerance HDS 12 Carbon on the console.Ultrex 36 volt TMDealer says 6-8 weeks but Im figuring 10-12.Its gonna be a long wait…….

Your definitely closer on the 12 weeks than youve been told, unless he has one hes using your order for.

I ordered mine on Aug.29th, Dont want it rushed thru production, just wandering when I need to think about writing the final check

They dont have an accurate date of delivery at this time frame due to mold mixes and model mixes. Dealers can rotate that within their needs and thus we cant pin down dates that accurately this far out.

AS a dealer, not sure I understand the statement, “Dealers can rotate that within their needs and thus we can not pin down dates that accurately this far out.” Our supply has always been dependent upon supply and demand also. Perhaps BCB can clarify that statement.

I would assume they mean a dealer gets X number of spots and before that spot comes up they can change some of the order including the boat model so with that being said it would be hard at this point to know who will use which molds and how many. that is just a guess on my part.

Model mix changes and changes mold demands, which complicates scheduling that far out. We cant fix schedules if they change a Margay to a Lynx. And similar changes occur frequently.

Im an idiot for sure but kinda surprised any dealer would tell someone 6-8 weeks right now.
