Mexican Pirates in a Bass Cat

I guess Bass Cats are top of the line pirating boats also !!!! http://www.tackleandrods.com/lake/flash.htm And another rumor I have heard the last day or so is that a red and white Bass Cat is running around in the back of the Salado and approaching fishermen with some unknown intentions. It is not a boat with any numbers on it and it has been carrying three or four guys in it. Most folks, like me, are vigilant about their surroundings, and leave any area that they do not feel comfortable in.. But I am going to go beyond that and recommend that you stay out of the Salado entirely till we see what is going on. That is the only place that any crap has ever happened and I think that avoiding the area for now is a good idea. And I will work on getting more details about this boat.I dont want to alarm anyone, but I have promised to let you know if we hear of anything out of the ordinary. And I have. So I wanted to pass it on to you. There is no reason for anyone to press their luck in uncertain situations. And for now I think it is best to let them have the Salado..Seems like here lately the better fishing is in Texas anyway. Ill keep you posted..

Heres 2 from a couple weeks ago caught on the Mexico side. Second pic is 10 lbs second is 11 lbs. At least the pirates have good taste in boats LOL hope everyone stays safe out there

Nice fish obviously… Really great trip it looks like! We had heard of the red & white boat being used by Mexicans from others who are local there. We dont know anything else about it or where it originated at, legit or not?

So Sad we now have to be worried on fresh water! I wanted to do a trip to Mexico for huge bass and numbers…forget it- just too risky. Too many Thugs.

Guys I wouldnt be afraid to fish the mexico side. Id stay out of Salado but we fished for a week and spent the entire time in Mexico. My dad and uncle made me tow a mexican tilapia fisherman broke down back to his home. Probably not the smartest thing to do but all they saw was another person in need of some help. We just kept a lookout and decided if anything seemed out of the ordinary wed just high tail it back to the US side. Good luck down there guys the fishing is off the chain.
