Any suggestions out there on reel repair shops? This would be for Shimano reels.Thanks.

You can always send them to Bass Pro Shops . — I personally do all my own work , as theyre not difficult , just tedious with lots of itty bitty teeny weeny parts — Not that hard to D.I.Y. really . — Exploded views available on the internet . — Parts too , but youll need model #s to make sure you get the right stuff . — Hoss

Spent a week on the bottom of the lake until I could get back and retrieve it.

I sent 7 random reels that needed help to scubaman. I thought a couple of them beyond help. They all came back in great shape. I think I will round up another round for him.

I recently gave Pete a try, and was more than impressed. Also sent him roughly 7 reels, mostly Shimano. All back quicker than I expected, and all seem to work perfect. He even revived an old Abu-torno that I lost the side plate…unscrewed one day and rolled off into the water,,,somehow he found a replacement.So I would definitely recommend scubaman for any reel service…hes got my vote.Bill

Ditto on Scubaman 154 anyone out there might be as good as Scubaman but no one is better thats for sure. Very impress with his work ethic and turnaround time, and he is a bass cat owner. What more do you want.
