New seats design

I cant really figure out that new seat design, im trying to like it but man it just off sets the boat especially with the middle seat installed. Not sure if having the Passenger seat opposite of the drivers seat would help in the way the seat trim sits or what but having all the trim go the same direction is not a very attractive/appealing looking. I would think making the seat trim from years past to this years should be an option. Other then the seat, the boats look great. You do not have to order the fourth color and they can be more neutral. The vinyls were all changed and the grade of vinyl was increased to provide a better seat also. All of the colors are changed for 2013. Comments from the dealer meeting were extremely positive on the seating and the changes. BCB Admin.NOTE: This is the R &D sample when the seat was in stages of development. The center portion is now to match the seat. Bands can all match with stripes only. The colors on the headrest are now matching the main seat body with textured material available in the outside panels shown, only on Premium models. Advantage and Vision models have three colors and no fourth color, the seat was patterned along the lines of the Margay which has been well accepted.Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on August 8th, 2012, 2:21 pm, edited 2 times in total.

Its not the color nor the material, its the passenger and drivers seat have the same lines, im sure they are great seats from the material and comfort side. Its the striping going the same direction on on the seats, just doesnt look like it flows together very well.

jslaw,Im with you. That was my first thoughts also. I think it would look better if they would be an mirror immage. This would eliminate the offset look. I like the looks of the fouth color.

I love the new seats. Particularly the carbon fiber looking stitching. Also if these seats are like the ones in my ski boat they are gonna be really a standout in person. Better grade vinyl is obvious in person. I have heard nothing but good things from a few folks that have seen them in person. Get that boat back here ASAP Jeremy!!C.O.D. Jr. III

I agree. The seats look like an awesome upgrade…but would be best if the patterns were mirrored.

My house is 50 – 50. Im not crazy about the new design but my wife loves em so you know who wins that battle!!!!!!

We do think they look better in person and everyone was enthusiastic with the new seats. The stripes were considered in that fashion, though which direction do you point the center seat. BCB Admin.

I agree the passenger seat design should mirror driver seat design. As for the center seat give it racing stripes for more balance.
