Hi, compare to PIIs length, which area is shorter on the Sabre – front or back, be more specific, please? Whats the maximum of rod length in the rod storage?
i can put a 710″ KVD crankin stick in my rod locker with no problems. BTW i also use stick jackets on my rods and no rod organizer. this method allows near unlimited rod storage without breaking a tip or tangling. not sure on where the extra foot is
+ 1 on those stick jackets. Couldnt say on the max length. I dont go above 7ft on my Sabre. smbass surprised me when he said 710″. I guess I can go longer. But if you have dual console it can get a little tight on removal from the locker.

Key is using stick jackets like smbass posted.
Guys I have an 09 Sabre FTD Dual Console and have no problem with the 710″ as long as a stick jacket is used. I do not user the organizer even though it is still in the compartment. I was going to remove it, but couldnt get it to come out. You do have to be cautious when you are taking the longer ones in and out however.
