I understand they fit well enough to leave on but do they fit tight enough so that the cover doesnt scratch the engine? Covers are fleece lined and will not scratch the cowling.Built to last for years in the sun.Fit is very snug with little, if any, flap while running – as long as you tighten it up correctly. Cant fix operator error.
