Hey guys,I talked to a guy yesterday from the Houston Area that is set on buying a Cat soon, but undecided between a Puma and Eyra. He is more than willing to travel to look at one, sit in it, etc. I already told him to join this board, and check out impact fishing as well. He is a member of BBC, and somewhat active on the Nitro page. His username there is DBassman. His name is David Bode and his cell# is 713-203-9101. He is looking for a 2013 or newer boat, so if anyone can help steer him in one direction or another, help him out. I sent him to the dealer where I got my boat, I just wish I was closer so that I could actually help him. Super nice guy!

Please have him visit the Houston show Sunday through next weekend and give William a visit on running through one. They have a lot of various models accessible in the Houston area and definitely hook it up. BCB

Yep Houston boat show is this weekend. Will be closed Saturday due to Texans football but will reopen Sunday and ru everyday until the following Sunday. There will be plenty of folks including myself there to give him advice and be able to talk everything about the various models. I think William bowden has at least 5 different models to look at.

I couldnt disagree more with PUMA PUMA PUMA.I have owned both. Put 500+ hours on an FTD. Currently own an Eyra- and for me its a better fit. Sure its newer than my previous boat but man Ive got 20 hours on it in 2 months and I would probably get another over a puma or cougar.I personally think you gotta drive both, examine storage of both, and fish a little out of both and then decide.All have their schtick but I find it very hard to believe this decision is a no brainer.C.O.D.
