Wanted to add my recommendation for a trolling motor accessory offered on the Basscat catalog page. The “Troll Perfect”” is just what the name says. Ive had one on my TE 109 MG for about two months now, and it makes it much easier to steer in a current or wind, and it absolutely stops all chiming and clattering in the trolling motor shaft. Takes about 5 minutes to install, and is extremely simple to adjust tension on the water.
