Awesome man, I will definitely do that. I will only have the first weekend off then the rest of the time I will be working. Gotta love the Corps. I will be up there starting the 10th. The first weekend is the 13th and 14th. Thanks for the offer. I will get an email out soon.- Chaz
You should catch some nice smallmouth at Lake Washington and they should be feeding again after spawn. Too bad you didnt have time to go to the Tri-Cities and fish the Columbia there should be some nice fish being caught there. It is hard not to catch one over 5lbs. in the Columbia River during this time of year. I am in Couerdalene if you ever make it up here then we can fish Lake Couerdalene.
This conversation is really nice folks.
A little late, as this happened on the 13th, but I have literally been working 19 hr days since then and this is my first day off.I want to get a shout out the NWBassCat and his brother-in-law in the Seattle area for a great day on the water. I got up there and got my first experience with a Puma, which I will definitely be getting one as soon as my PIV is sold. Jason had to work, but he wanted to make sure I had a great day on the water. I met him at his mechanic shop in Seattle and he put me on his brother in laws boat and let me use his gear. It was all left handed so I had a little bit of a learning curve for most of the day, but I cant complain about the best hospitality I have ever seen. Just about every hour on the hour he would be making phone calls to see how the day was going and making sure I was being shown a good day on the water. I was definitely put on some fish but failed miserably to execute. One lost 4-5 # largemouth in the pads, little beast grew hands and took the jig out of his mouth and put it in the base of a lily pad. Then I broke off what had to be a nice smallmouth in a tree. Those were my two bites for the day. Jason felt bad and wanted to make sure I got on some Washington fish, so after fishing all day on the Puma on Lake Washington while he was at work, he met me at his brother-in-laws house and took me to his home. Then we loaded his Sabre and went to his local lake, where his wife delivered home made pizza to the ramp. Again, I was put near fish as seen by the attached picture, but didnt get bite one on my end. These guys went out of their way to try to make sure I had a great experience in Washington. Although I failed to execute on my part, I had one hell of an experience and made some new friends while I was at it. Thanks guys for the time on the water and I am looking forward to my many more trips to the area. – Chaz
