My dad is moving my oil reservoir over the sump area so I can add a 3rd battery for my new 36v trolling motor in the oil tanks present position. He is screwing down (two) 3 inch wide 1/2 inch thickness strips of aluminum over the sump to mount the tank hold to. What diameter, length, and type of screw will do the job and what kind (aluminum, stainless, galvanized). He has the 3m 5200 does he needs to put a square bead around all edges to enclose that screw hold to prevent water intrusion (from a rogue wave) seen at times at Toledo Bend that will bring water up to your floor board drain if it happens.
Also presently the rig had a 788 ci but a hummingbird 788 ci Down imagine is being purchased. He is installing a new112 Ultrex can the transducer in the foot be used for down imaging? If not what transducer is needed for the down imaging feature and does he need a Y or a switch to use the down imaging and the one in the foot. Sorry so long. Thanks in advance.
