Single Axle Trailer into a Dual Axle

I’m looking at a boat right now that has a single axle trailer. Would I be better off to just buy a tandem axle trailer and try to sell the single or is it possible for BCB to take my trailer and add another axle and tandem fenders and be good to go? If so, about how much do y’all think that modification would cost?

They don’t do alteration at the factory. It’s taking one down to the frame basically and starting from there including paint. Usually the brake parts, coupler and more need revised.

You might be able to find someone who would prefer the single axle trailer, and be willing to swap you + cash on your end. Just a thought if its a common model boat.
