Not an Odyssey AGM

I had no luck with the nocco. I was consistently not getting a full charge. Not only with my cranker but also the trollers. I performed some extensive testing and my conculusion led me to purchasing a lester charger for trollers and a dual pro delta volt single bank for my cranker even though it is not mounted in my boat. I have big northstar agm. The dual pro delta volt always gives the “full” charge. I guess some have luck with the nocco i just wasnt impressed with the charging capabilitys.

When you are trying to ascertain compatibility between battery and charger, it is always best to speak to the battery manufacturer, and not to the people who build the chargers. Battery manufacturers usually test several chargers with their batteries, and can often recommend the best ones for their brand. As I mentioned in a post above, the Noco will not properly charge an Odyssey AGM, as their batteries require a specific charging profile, and Odyssey actually publishes a list of approved chargers for their batteries.

Only on the later charger variations it seems, not the older ones as they were dependable. Thus don’t bulk it by brand though time of manufacture.

I’m real happy with my Dual Pro Professional Series, have owned two, it is a heavy charger (actually four separate charges in one case), and it is not cheap.  But it seems to work well and it is repairable by Dual Pro unlike a lot of chargers.

I too had bad luck with a couple of NOCOs.
