With SeaArk also being under the Correct Craft umbrella, is there any plans for a SeaArk/BassCat collaboration to bring back an aluminum BassCat offering? Tin rigs may get a bump if Jon Cox wins out of his Crestliner fishing back waters.
Jon is fun to follow. Hope he pulls it off.
Rick Pierce and Steve Henderson working together?
Lord help us all….
I know I wouldn’t wanna fish PB Harbor against that team.
I’m sure between the two companies it would be a sweet and tough aluminum rig.
The question was instantly asked when things were announced. There are no plans to build a bass version for Bass Cat logos.
Bummer. I’d imagine it would be a popular offering, especially with the collegiate crowd. A few years ago I planted the seed w/ my better half that I want a tin boat sitting next to my cat when I finally transition to civilian life and am able to fish more. Especially if we retire near tidal waters.
Then I’d just buy a sea ark. Steve Henderson who is president is a nice guy and a heckuva fisherman. I was practicing in pine bluff harbor a month ago and saw two guys in a beautiful 20′ aluminum camo modified v with a matte finished Suzuki 200 cutting brush and sinking it. Was mid 90s outside. When they got close it was obvious it was steve. Dude is and always has been a hard core angler. Boat was friggin awesome close up too. Sea ark makes everything up to humongous fire boats for harbors back east. Once saw em testing water cannons in about a 1000 acre lake in Monticello.

I’m not bashing SeaArk by any means, and I would look closely at them when the time is right. But a BCB/SeaArk collaboration would most likely result in the best tin tournament bass boat on the market. SeaArks aluminum expertise and reputation coupled w/ BCB’s bass experience would be a winner. Even if it was simply a collaboration in design to help bring SeaArk to the forefront of the bass tin market.
They have tried that bass market in pad aluminum and left it for various reasons. They are remaining sold out about 6 months on orders and until that changes we doubt we do anything for or with them.
Well this one looks very interesting and should be a winner. I look forward to hearing how she runs. http://seaarkboats.com/boat_models/view/123
You know, with the shape of that steering wheel, the shape of the console, and the triangular live wells, it sure looks like it’s been crossbred with something else. I wonder what the BC stands for? Bass Catcher? That boat may even get me to look away from the Vexus aluminum boat.
jignpig – I looked at both and this SeaArk beats the new Vexus aluminum in my opinion in just about every way, except size, rear storage and price. I really like how they incorporated a lot of BCB’s features into the BC 210 and it has definitely caught my eye as I am exploring new boat options now that we are putting down roots and approaching retirement. This one seams like the ideal river rat boat worthy of consideration (the James River is now my home waters). Only down side I can see is it is the size of a Jag with the weight of a Cougar and only limited to a 200. I’ve been hoping BCB and SeaArk would collaborate on the perfect aluminum offering and here it is. Hopefully more model sizes will follow and perhaps a couple will even have the BCB lighting boat. I am intrigued…
Also, I wonder if the BC 210 would qualify for fishing the BCB OI and regional OIs?
I would still have to see both in person to make an accurate comparison. But I agree with you if this is a Sea Ark product with some eerily similar markings from a sister company, I wonder if it would qualify for the OI?
Project was talked about early on, and sales were to backed up until they improved production. Things will begin to flow more as they have plans for two bass models now. This one will get some tweaking.
