Axle End Unit in BCB Store

Do the axle end units in the BCB store come assembled with grease? Or is it just all the components?

Everyone that I have bought from BCB was complete including grease and ready to install. I actually started buying the complete units instead of dealing with replacing bearings and seals and races. The cost difference is not enough to justify all the hassle in my opinion. Every 3-5 years just buy new complete assemblies and no worry’s while on the road.

BCB also paints theirs with some sort of clear coat that does a great job of preventing rust. I have an end unit in my garage which I never installed and which I got directly from UFP and the exterior of it is completely rusted over.

Although some only last 1.5-2.5 years, even as original equipment on a brand new trailer. It’s a good idea to have a backup.

i guess i’m surprised that someone would need to replace every end unit every 3-5 years? assume reason is brake pads?

Ward, I guess I had a bad experience with bearing failure so I just change them. It Certainly isn’t necessary but it gives me peace of mind. Who knows, I may just buy a new boat every 3-5 years from now on! Lol.

I received my end unit it and it is complete with grease and even comes on a spindle to seal it all up. Very nice set up for a spare.
