My son has a high school tournament on Lake Livingston middle of February. We have fished Livingston numerous times but I don’t know how to safely run this lake I know how to run certain areas but don’t know how to get from one part of the lake to another. I can run to the very back of Kickapoo but don’t know how to get from Kickapoo to the 190 bridge or Kickapoo south bound to the state park.

I am not looking for any fishing spots, I know a few areas we want to fish. I would like a safe route if anyone has tracks on Livingston. After tearing a lower unit up last year I’m a little nervous on Livingston. Thought we were done with this lake but the tournament got moved from Rayburn to Livingston. My cell is 8three2-7six7-88nine0 if anyone can help or give me suggestion. Thanks.

If you mean the big river bridge then you would go under the little 190 bridge coming out of Kickapoo there is some markers that mark a channel it will open up to main lake you would go to your right to go over towards the big bridge and angle off down south and to the left to the dam. Livingston is sketchy you basically have to know it floaters everywhere that move around even in the marked channels. I honestly avoid that lake and I live there.

We haven’t been there since just after they marked the channel, though it was pretty easy to run the river once you got past the jog in the channel a few miles upstream from the bridge. It was marked fairly well.

The White Rock area is fairly simple and you don’t have to run far.
