Humminbird Helix 10

We don’t know, though we wonder if the Side Imaging doesn’t work as the 1198c should do everything other than down imaging.

I presently have an 1198c HD installed in my Eyra.  It’s showing its age and I am considering going to the helix 10 mega si.  I have been unable on line to determine the size of the hole in my console to determine if it is too big for the Helix.  Humminbird customer service could not provide the dimensions of the cut out for the 1198c.  If the opening were too small obviously I could enlarge it, but if is too large that’s another problem.  As my daddy used to say “It could be too much sugar for a nickel.”  Any help would be very much appreciated.

The 1198 is a larger hole.It will fit length wise but the height is the issue,you would have a gap. You could contact one of the guys that make mounts,they could make a plate for you to flush mount.
