Water in compartment

My 2015 Caracal had the same problem. I tightened the latch on the compartment lid. It stopped the leak.  I don’t  know what you mean when you say they were “patched down.”

The water leak can be tested for using the dunk method the archive post is in the FAQ. They are addressing more potential leaks areas inside the factory and are providing tools soon to assist dealerships more in determining leak locations. With the wet season the south has had this has been a major issue by all boat companies in 2019.

I have a 2019 Caracal and I got water in my rod box and left box. I pulled my trolling motor pedal, remove the access plate and found that the drain in that area has a tube on it, but it was just curled up in the area and not down the center drain. I removed the drain, placed the tube where it should be and reinstalled the plate and pedal.  No water in the rod box now. It was coming over the nose in rough water and draining into the front area with some water getting into the center rod box and left box and some going where it should go.

Check that drain line.
