The original plywood was 3/8” AC Exterior and that has significantly lessened since 1991 in both thickness and quality. We would go to a 1/2 AC exterior and it should work fine once you remove the foam and water. Use soda bottle with lids, plastic balls or anything sealed up for buoyancy in the foam flotation area. You can then foam it with pour foam after resealing it.
