I’m looking to change out the tires on my single axel PII trailer. Originally the trailer came with the Trailer King ST225/75R15, and I’ve no issues with them, they have just reached the 5-year mark from production. I’ve searched the threads and different boards, but the more I research, the more confused I become. I’ve looked at the Trailer Kings, Maxxis M8808, Carlisle Radial Trail HD, and the Goodyear Endurance. They all look similar except for the Maxxis, which has the lower speed rating, and the Goodyear Endurance with the highest speed rating. I’m looking for recommendations, from fellow Catter’s, on a good, reliable tire whether it’s a trailer or car tire.
BCB, if I was ordering a new single axel rig today, what brand and series of tires would come on it?
