I have an 18 Cougar FTD that when any of the compartments are open, the LED light just flashes. Does not matter if the main power switch is on or not, same results. I have wiggled all the push pins (one at a time) and don’t see any changes, such as a short or bad ground. The security system will set, so it is seeing all of the door pins, I’m assuming.

Any suggestions?

One of the boxes is not closing the circuit when closed. A camera phone and video will find it, just repower the system and get it freshened.

I understand that there must be a circuit open, but what are you referring to “A camera phone and video will find it, just repower the system and get it freshened.” If this implies to record a video from inside the box when closed, wouldn’t the same principle apply by just pushing the pin in while the door is open?

Put your phone on video in a compartment and shut the lid to see if the light goes out, or if it comes back on. Repeat in each compartment.

Ok I’ve confirmed that each compartment isn’t lighting up with the doors/lids closed. When a lid is opened there’s a clicking noise coming from inside the dash, assuming it’s ties to the control panel?

My Eyra did the same thing….It was the control panel.

Waiting on BC to return my call about this issue, hopefully it’ll get taken care of soon as these light are really annoying in the dark…
