Boat Deliveries Delayed?

Was supposed to pick up my new BassCat this weekend, but have not been able to get an answer at the dealership which is understandable with everything that is going on (could be closed) Was curious if my boat was still at the factory because of what has been going on, and the availability of the Evinrude motor? The boat is a Pantera Classic, dual console, white bottom, charcoal sides, charcoal bolt, white top cap, charcoal consoles, and sapphire trim.

We don’t know who your dealer is and why they can’t get an answer, that is unless they are closed.

There are three (3) products at the factory awaiting Evinrude engines and they were backordered prior to the company closing over the State of Wisconsin directives, and regarding COVID 19.

There’s a chance we could place another brand engine on boats, though we have no idea what the logistics are on that. It’s not our world and they have staff next week that can make arrangements. Contact your dealer and have him contact the factory next week.

Riverside Marine, Tn. Was told maybe about 3 weeks or so ago that the motor for my boat was not available yet. Unable to contact the dealer as no one has answered the phone or email which as I said is understandable because they could be closed with what is going on. Just trying to get a timeline so I can roughly plan when to make the drive to pick the boat up.

We are at the mercy of BRP on the engine. All BRP models of boats are completed in the production phases and awaiting engines. There will be several parts and accessories which may need installation when the final wiring and processes are completed. Harnesses, parts and items from BRP/Evinrude also may be on backorder, we can’t answer that.

If dealer has website, check there for updates. If not, email them. Someone probably monitoring email off site if closed. That’s how I reached mine.

They have a web site. I have called, and emailed with no response. It is not that big of a deal as I was just curious where the boat was probably at. Everything by me is shutdown anyway…all ramps are closed (why I have no freakin’ idea) so it is not like I am missing out on being able to do anything. I knew before all of the virus stuff started that the engines were on back order. Would be cool to see a picture of the boat as it has been on order for a long time with a delivery time for the 1st week in April. I keep looking at the serial number facebook page and nothing as of yet.

They don’t post on the Serial Number page until after delivery.
