Horn want shut off

I have a 2017 Sabre FTD, and today it is just sitting in the garage and the horn starts going off. I had to disconnect the main battery to get it to stop. Anyone know what might have shorted other than the switch before I start extensive trouble shooting. The boat has not been out of the garage since April.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.

Contact Service and they can assist you. We would be glad to help and until they get it resolved, unplug power to your horn and toss a whistle in your boat.

I installed the new parts this past Sunday. Everything works as it is supposed to. Thank you again for all your help. This is only one of the reasons I bought a Basscat Boat. Very happy to be part of this family.

This past Saturday was the first opertunity I have had to take the boat out since replacing these parts. Everything worked fine for the 5 plus hours of fishing.

As I turned into our driveway I could hear the horn going off again. everything else is working as it is supposed to. Is there anything else that could be causing this problem? The boat didn’t get rained on. no waves plashed over the side or the bow. no water anywhere that I would think could affect this system. There was not any water that even came from the bilge when I pulled the plug at the ramp. Everything else is working as it is supposed to. Nav lights all work, bilge pumps and aeration working correctly. I have for the time being disconnected the horn Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

That’s extremely unusual and we are feeling you will find the dash somehow still powering the Horn. Could there be a wire shorted somehow to the Horn positive wire during a graph install?

Not saying it is not possible however everything is still installed just as it was at the factory. Nothing in my dash has been changed or removed . The only exception is the parts I recieved from service. The black box and touch pad. I have not had a chance to troubleshoot it yet. I plan to this come the weekend if this storm doesnt mess that up.

There is power to the bilge pump and horn with the master power and the key switch in the off position. I dont know if this is correct or not. Can someone send me a wiring schematic so I can properly trouble shoot the system and determine where power should or should not be. With out a schematic I do not know what wires are for what. It would sure make my troubleshooting way less combersome.
