What’s a fair price to list a 97-98 PII? I’ve replaced carpet, seats, new Ultrex and HDS 9’s Gen 3’s. 200 Mariner EFI Motor runs good replaced lower unit with after market and had the starter rebuilt.
I’d say maybe $12,000-13000 asking. You may not recover your investment in older model updates with electronics alone.
It all depends on your market area, what YOU think it’s worth and what people are willing to pay. If the lower unit is an SEI aftermarket, that would be a deal breaker for me.
A clean 1997 model could bring $15,000 with some upgrades maybe a little more.
Which means in theory a certain 96 Eyra with a 2012 Mercury 175 Pro XS, Big H’Bird Helix x2, new carpet with full padded front deck and a (manufacturer error/owner corrected )2015 single axle trailer could still bring $15K-18.
