New owner of a 1997 Pantera II

I would like to see how some of you store your tackle in the older p2s.

Trying to figure out why I keep getting a fault on the super dash when I try to use the bilge in manual. Once it faults nothing else works but before it does I can operate everything else without fault. It will go into auto without fault but as soon as you try to put it in manual it will fault have to cycle main power before I can get the other acc to operate

Congratulations on your new to you Pantera 2.

I would try unplugging your bilge pump and then put into manual to see if anything changes. Pump might be bad and dragging your power down. When you put it in “auto” your pump is not in the circuit since level switch is not made. I’m not an expert on the super dash but this is worth a try.

The Super Dash 101-B controls output if the amp requirements exceed the set levels. You can test the pump by switching to another cartridge and it is usually the pump that fails. It may run hot wired, though that’s not fused or regulated. Thus the system protecting it is preventing over draw.

Also, the grounds could need cleaned up on the terminal block at the transom. That’s a frequent issue on older boats and you may have some work to do there.
