The area around Prairie Creek is inside a creek arm. The ramps are inside a cove off of that creek. The actual point of the recreation area is somewhat open in that creek, more subject to an east or SE wind. Winds from the NW also blow on the opposing side. Tucking inside the cove or backside (west) of the point will accommodate you being by yourself. You can also load using the courtesy docks and let the boat drift out some (longe rope), if you wish, for others loading.
You should be fine and the depth structure of Beaver Lake doesn’t lend itself to use of shallow anchors overall. It’s just too deep in places for anchors to work well.
