No one has done more with the Hybrid in performance set up and plate testing than I have, no one.
A Hydro plate isn’t needed for this hull unless you’re fishing skinny water or the ease of prop testing.
I’ve tried 23, 24, 25, 26P Fury 3, 23, 24P Fury 4, 24, 25 -26P Tempest, 24 Bravo 4, and a 25P Trophy. I’ve run em buried and high, hot water temps and cool, heavy loaded and tourney loaded.
The best prop for this hull and a 250 is the 23-24P Fury 3 depending on water temp and load. With a 300 it’s be a 24-25P Fury 3.
The Tempest in the same pitches are really close but required fine tuning with the plugs to get the hole shot right and don’t carry a load as well. The 26P Tempest is the fastest of any of the props I’ve tested but hole shot loaded ready to fish is slower than the Fury by a tad.
