I bought a beautiful 2018 caracal powered by a 225 SHO here in canada and excited to get out on the water and guide out of it. This is my first basscat.

Pulling out the helix 9 out of the dash and putting a new Lowrance HDS 12 live. Not sure if it will fit for flush mount or if I have to buy a seperate mount from either BBT or geigertec.

Would love to dual mount two graphs but it will cover the gauges and I’m pretty OCD of having a clean look.

I did a squeeze plate as the graphs got bigger I’ll never do another insert in dash

It’s a different console then you have but same concept place behind fiberglass plate in front bolt together and it doesn’t move at all

I would look into a bass boat technologies mount. And I would add a steering wheel spacer depending on how you like your steering wheel tilted. This would give you the ability to store the graphs not on the boat in travel/ weather/ prevent theft… or later on change to a different graph all together. Looks like you have good garage so maybe not an issue. Also a hydraulic jack plate makes a big difference on that hull imo for rough water ride might wanna look for a bobs for it. Love the color scheme on that boat btw! Super sharp. congrats!

Oh and order some “cabinet door bumpers” in clear for your windshields. People were bad in my caracal about grabbing the visors/ windshields, and they rub the console. Easy fix to stick a few of those clear dots under them in the tight areas.
