Access to Power Pole pump

I have a 2017 Cougar Advantage SP. One of the Power Poles will not go down, so I need to get to the pump. It is way up in front of the gas tank and there is about 3″ between the floor and the top of the pump. I can’t fit a screwdriver in there to get the top off. I don’t know how to get to this pump.

someone put it there, so you should be able to remove it. Gas tank out maybe or just moved a little? dont know, but it got put there.

Mine was bolted through the storage compartment.

I see the two bolts in the storage compartment but I can’t see the other end of the bolts where it connects to the bracket. I’m afraid that if I unscrew the bolts that the nuts are just going to fall off and disappear. Have you taken the pump off before?

Sharkman, the back of the pump is threaded, there shouldn’t be a bolt, they should be bolted right through the box into the back of the pump.
