Not sure what is going on here so maybe Basscat can shed some insight, im getting nowhere with my local dealer or the only other one in my province, they dont seem to give a sh*#. Which is honestly no surprise, dealers are terrible up here as soon as your purchase is complete.
Boat has never been hit or towed inproperly.
Ive had spider cracks in gel on previous boats before but never to this extent.

Check on the inside of the battery compartment up underneath the splash well and the inside of the transom where it meets the floor and the sponsons. Check the inside of the transom at the bolts and flat braces too. That seems like a lot of movement to have cracking up top into carpet/floor area. Are there cracks on outside of transom too on sides of jack plate? May want to tilt motor up and pull up and down on cavitation plate, see if transom is soft. Depending on how old it is (wood transom) could be rotten transom.
I have seen this a few times at work on newer boats, but was on boats that hit something really hard with lower unit and the transom flexed where the jack plate bolts up. Jack plate will be pushed forward at top of transom and pulled out at bottom, if was hard impact. It rebounds some, but usually after something breaks some. Would obvious damage to lower unit/prop if you hit something that hard though.
What year is the boat? Are you the original owner?
You should call Basscat directly if no luck with local dealer.
The inside looks solid, outside is as well, it just seems to be the top cap.
No movement when moving the motor, went around and checked all bolts, everything is tight.
Its a 2005 Puma, im the 3rd owner but know who it came from.
I know materials back then got changed due to epa regulations, perhaps it is just that.
The pictures are not viewable on our devices.
Is there an email i can forward them to, im not tech savvy enough to figure out why they aremt viewable on certain devices lol

Bass Cat BoatsKeymaster “The pictures are not viewable on our devices.”
All of us on the forum can see the photos, why can’t you?
The pics just popped up as viewable.
We don’t know the history of this product or ownership. This is definitely a post MACT product, after 2003 model year, which is not the materials we have today. And the pre 2004 materials were greatly better than todays, as pre MACT. We have been extremely open on the topic of resin and posted it transparently, which no other company has ever done so. Only through our posts has the public learned of MACT and the EPA mandated changes. And some companies today were not in business before EPA MACT standards or this product was built. That information is archived in various places for all interested.
This boat we would need to review records internally on ownership. They would want more large scale images of the overall boat to see condition of the rig. The cracks don’t concern us and cracks don’t just happen like this, as they won’t crack sitting inside your garage. So there is some force that causes the cracks. The one that does concern us is the break in the rear lip. That will continue to grow over time, no matter if this is an 18-20 year old boat. That’s 19 years possibly, and 20 model years.
Bass Cat a service would work with your local dealership if they found it was inside our customer service guidelines. The “Hull” itself is under a lifetime warranty against failures due to issues from our side, caused through or by production. It is not under “warranty” from other aspects and issues outside our control.
Get with the local dealership again to begin the process and please provide overall images of the product. We do understand that some are not tremendously willing to help out sometimes on older rigs. You need them to connect the dots for you.

Thank you very much, that is all i was looking for and knew you would provide it.
Customer service goes such a long way.
I have sent overall pictures to my local dealer back in august, i reached back out to them at the end of sept and they said they are just waiting to hear back from your end, ( wether this is true or not i do not know) but i will contact them again with this.
