I am considering install of the night stalker black light versus the Moonlight full moon with a green light. I have seen the results of the full moon can someone let me know how many lights are needed on each side of the night stalker to see the fishing line well as well as project a good beam to run yoyo’s (using the black light to see reflectors.) I am also looking for 4 or 5 15 inch cat claw rims and 2 speakers than mount to the seat if anyone has them. Sorry such a long message. Thanks guys
From what I’ve seen of the Night Stalker lights , I’m not impressed . — It would take 8 or 10 of them to match my old Stan Sloan tube lights . — Another option is the LED strip lights . ( 16 ft. long ) — My brother put them on his boat and you can see him from a LONG way off at night . — VERY inexpensive as well on e-bay . — They stick on just below the rub rail , which shields you from any light that might shine upwards , and they STAY stuck on . — Just thought I’d put in my 2 cents worth . — Hoss
John , if you’re interested in the LED strips – E-BAY item # 302703322622 is only 12 bucks for a 5 meter long strip . — If you buy 2 of them it’s only 21 bucks . — They’ve lasted for 2 years on my brother’s boat so far , and are still working fine . — Hoss
Do they strips illuminate the fishing line like a black light ?

Yes , they are ultraviolet light . — If you want to get REAL fancy , they have some that you can change between U / V ( black light ) – GREEN – AND BLUE , but of course they’re more expensive .
I owned the sloan(piggy back) for many yrs. Never will ever say a bad word about them they are great lights. Let it go with my 88 model in 2013 since it had the jack style power supply. I currently own a full moon moonlight. Its small and very bright. I really like it and the quality seems to be there as well. Im not fond of the rubrail style lights in general. Specially those that require cutting the rail or replacing the rail. My theroy is “bumpity bumpity breaky breaky”. Can’t really speak on the stalkers other than i figure for bcb to be selling for a while know they must be of quality. Everyone has preferences and each to their own.
Forgot to ask, I am adding a battery any of you fellas have a recommendation or used 4 banks charger I am switching to the 36 v ulterra?
There are some on Amazon as well, and Yes they glow fluorescent line very well. PLUS there are no cords to trip over, all you do is flip the switch. Definitely the way to for night fishing! I have them myself.

Hey I put on the black lights I got off the internet. They have the best 3M glue on them and will not come off! They are 16’4” but you can cut them any lengt you want! They don’t blind you and are 16.00 bucks for both. Very easy to install. By the way for 8 bucks for both red and green lights that are led and can be seen for two miles! They are awesome. Text me at 870-291-3975 and I’ll send you the exact ones. You will never regret them!

Caution is advised if using the red / green for bow markers , as they are NOT Coast Guard approved , and you could be cited for using them if the officer wants to be a stickler for the law , even though they are a whole lot more visible than the approved lights .
