									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After putting the cover on tight park it out in the sun for a little while, and you will be amazed how much more you can stretch it. If you want to avoid scratches on a long trip, go all the way around your boats rub rail, and gunnel with a roll of shrink wrap. It keeps the cover from abrading the gel coat. ( I do that for 500 mile + trips).</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After putting the cover on tight park it out in the sun for a little while, and you will be amazed how much more you can stretch it. Start by pulling the winch strap as far down as you can, and then remove the drum axle bolt.  you should be able to then pull the drum carefully out of the back  by forcing open the black plastic body. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had the same problem on my 2001 P3, and it turned out to be one of the ground jumpers had corroded on the buss bar on the inside of the transom. It about drove me crazy because it would check good on an Ohm meter, but it would not carry a load when you turned on a pump. I think only one stand was left holding together.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You are having a problem with power or ground when in reverse to kick out the reverse solenoid. You should have gotten a key to put in the slot on the trailer to keep the brakes from actuating.</p>

Which is why the factory ran it down the starboard side. From experience on my 01 P3 I would tell you to check the terminal block on the transom. Mine corroded the jumper wires that were looped on the bottom side.</p>

I have never found it to hinder operation of the reels in any weather, and I do fish a lot in the winter months in Arkansas and Missouri along with my normal marsh fishing down here around Houma, La.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I don&#8217;t have any experience with that hull, but something does not sound right. I would have the motor put on a scan tool at our local Yamaha dealer, as I don&#8217;t think a 22 pitch would keep your rpm&#8217;s that low.</p>
