I dont have any issues with the height either. Make sure you re-enforce it on the back side of the console with another mounting plate to ensure you have enough support for the bracket. I ended up going to a custom fabrication shop and showed them some of the existing mounts on the market that I liked and we worked together on creating something that was unique for my console. This quarantine has me trying to find things to do and I think this project will turn out well and it&#8217;s incredibly easy to do. Just a thought in case you wanted  to go this route instead. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Was the cover designed for a Fortrex ? If so, you may want to contact the manufacturer and have some additional material sent. Then take it to a canvas shop and have them alter it. I did something similar this fall and I&#8217;m happy with the results</p>
