Someone else will be along shortly to verify but if I&#8217;m not mistaken, a 8&#8243; jackplate would void your transom warranty. I&#8217;m not sure what you would gain with a 8&#8243; plate, mine does everything I need.</p>

The Lynx is huge up front and I like the storage very much. The room up front is just what I needed. The Lynx is not as nimble as the Puma of course due to it&#8217;s size but still handles great to me. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What motor and prop are you running?  The Lynx behaves a little different from some other boats, how it is loaded is critical. Too much weight in the front will affect how quickly it planes off. If you are running a new Merc 4 stroke or Verado, these motors perform well at higher rpms and a smaller prop such as the Fury 3 24p will work well.
