I run a 25 Tempest as my speed prop.  I like it at flush on the plate or 1/8” below flush.  Runs the chop nicely and handles well.  On my boat, that’s 3 1/2- 3 5/8 prop to pad.  Rooster tail is a tad under top of cowling  aired out at max trim. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I would guess that 175 Pro XS, propped correctly, might be capable of 64-65 solo with an average load on a Classic.  No issues with hole shot.  This is just my hunch. They make a “regular” 175 4 stroke too that’s probably priced slightly less.</p>
