I would not hesitate to buy a boat from him unseen, as I did with my 2016 from him. Boat was as advertised and I still own it today.</p>

<p>I would use the vent hose unless you have sealed batteries (AGM , lithium) or don&#8217;t plan on fueling your tanks. Your main concern being the vapors produced by lead acid batteries is heavier than air. The same with fuel vapors, they are heavier than air. The vent tube gets down to the lower part of the bilge and will aid in recirculation of the air.</p>
