]]> 0 f0f7e561d29b3677cc42425a7a655e26 Jeff W from TX started the topic Changing bow strap in the forum Bass Cat Boats https://basscat.com/forum/groups/basscatowner/changing-bow-strap/ Sat, 25 Feb 2023 21:17:57 -0600 I need to replace the bow strap on my 2012 Cougar.  Somehow the locking hook it got damaged so I need to replace it.  With the stem being welded onto the post where the winch is mounted, I can’t figure out how to get o the bolts that hold the winch down or the bolt that anchors the strap itself.  Any ideas?

I’m guessing there is an easy solution that I just cannot see.
