The lake gets a little rough with a south end in certain areas but nothing like larger wide open lakes. All still navigable easily.

You can get away from the wind easily on Beaver. Catching the bigguns is the biggest challenge. :)…Read more

I added a Lowrance Ghost to my 13 Cougar FTD and I have been VERY happy with the Ghost. I was using a Fortrex. Spotlock is the best thing I have ever added to my boat…I cant image the weight is that much different but probably lighter?
